How to make the most of an escort in Sydney
With Sydney’s summer season drawing to a close, the number of women seeking out and sleeping with escorts is increasing, with the number one reason being their work environment.
It’s a trend that will continue to rise in the coming months, according to a report by Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The report showed the number was up 17 per cent on the year, but it was only up to 27 per cent among escorts working in the suburbs.
The number of people looking to work for an escort increased from 4,914 in 2016 to 5,858 in 2017.
The increase is mostly due to the growth in the number and type of escorts in the city, according a spokesperson for the National Association of Women Escorts.
“There are a lot of women who work for escort agencies, but for some reason that’s not enough for them,” she said.
The increase in the demand for escorts comes as a result of the introduction of a new law to regulate the industry. “
But that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right one.”
The increase in the demand for escorts comes as a result of the introduction of a new law to regulate the industry.
Under the new law, a woman who has been charged with prostitution will now face an automatic three-year jail term.
The new law also makes it an offence for an escorting agency to refuse to work with a woman seeking to arrange for a sexual relationship.
There are still many women who are unwilling to have sex with an escort.
While the number in the industry is increasing in the suburb of Kings Cross, the majority of women are still not looking for escorting work, according the National Escort Association of Australia.
“If you’re looking to go to work as an escort, it’s still not the ideal environment,” Ms Taylor said.
The majority of escorting agencies have taken steps to reduce the demand.
They have put more staff on the ground, put more cameras in the streets and more onsite staff to provide more safety measures for escort agents.
“Our industry is in crisis,” she added.
Ms Taylor says that while she doesn’t feel like she can afford to lose her job, she does feel it’s her responsibility to be vigilant.
“The only way to be able to make this a better industry is to be more proactive and to be there at the tip of the spear,” she explained.
“You can’t just sit back and be complacent.”
The National Escorts Association of NSW said they are hopeful the new laws will help to reduce demand.
“While we have a large number of escort agencies, we know the number will continue increasing over time, as new laws and enforcement measures are introduced,” the spokesperson said.
