Woman gets jailed for allegedly raping boy after escort brooklynn story
A South Jersey escort has been jailed for three months after being accused of raping a boy who was her boyfriend at a brook in Brooklyn.
Police said the incident happened last June.
They said Ashley Mazzoni, 33, of South Jersey, pleaded guilty in federal court in Newark to two counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts each of first and second-degree kidnapping.
She had been arrested earlier in the year on charges of kidnapping and first- and second, third-degree rape, but the indictment against her was amended after she was charged with kidnapping.
According to court documents, the victim, then 16, went to a brothel on the city’s East Side and was met by Ashley Mizzoni and another man, who took him to a bedroom in a home in the 5300 block of East 5th Street.
Mizzoni allegedly forced him to have sex with her in the room.
The victim’s mother reported the incident to police and was able to track down Ashley Mzzoni, who told police she had been in a relationship with the victim for about two years.
The man she was allegedly with at the brothel was identified in court documents as a customer at the Brooklyn Escort.
Court documents say Mizzone was charged in October with second- and third-class sexual assault, second-class kidnapping and second and third degree rape.
Mazzoni’s attorney, Kevin McLean, told NJ Advance Media that the charges were unfounded and that the case was settled before he was aware of them.
He also said the charges had nothing to do with Mizzonis sexual history.
