Watch: Sen. Marco Rubio talks about Donald Trump’s tax return, and then calls it “disgusting”
Marco Rubio on Tuesday said the leaked tax returns of Donald Trump, who is leading the Republican presidential race, are “disgraceful” and “disheartening” and should not be released.
“I think it’s disgraceful,” Rubio said on ABC’s This Week.
And I think that anybody who has a tax return of anybody in politics should not have to answer to anybody else.

Rubio said the leaks could be used as an “attack on the Democratic Party.”
“You know, I think this is an attack on the Democrats and their ability to fight back,” he said, adding that the leaked material is “disrespectful.”
“It does not represent the American people.”
“And I don’t think that’s the way we’re going to run our democracy,” he added.
Trump said on Tuesday that he has released his tax returns.
“Look, I’m releasing them,” Trump said during an appearance on Fox News.
